Lavender is one of the most widely used essential oils in the world and it is a first aid kit within itself!
The Main Properties of Lavender:
Anti-fungal, bactericidal, anti-viral, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic analgesic and it is soothing and calming to the nervous system.
Lavender can be used for:
• Insect bites, mosquito bites, burns, cuts, scratches and bruising
• Headaches and pain management
• Anxiety, stress, restlessness, insomnia
Patchouli is another essential oil that can be used for a wide range of conditions.
The Main Properties of Patchouli:
Anti-infectious, anti-fungal, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory, calming, relaxing and excellent for wound healing especially open weeping wounds, anti-pruritic.
Patchouli can be used for:
• Insect bites, mosquito bites, all wounds
• Anxiety, stress, restlessness
Grapefruit is another excellent oil to use for first aid while you are travelling.
The Main Properties of Grapefruit:
Anti-septic, immune booster, strengthening to the nervous system, energizing and very uplifting to the mind, moods and emotions.

• Jet lag, raising energy levels, mood enhancing
• Supports the immune and nervous systems
